The arthritis Foundation Inland Empire Branch is inviting participation in its 2009 arthritis Walk on May 30 at Fairmount Park in downtown Riverside. The event raises funds and awareness to fight the disease. Registration is 8 to 9 a.m., followed by announcements and a warm-up with tai chi instructors. Walkers can choose a 3-mile or a 1-mile course.
